I've gone to Texas! I'll only be there for 48 hours but that should be enough time to visit with most of my family and fill my belly with some good grub.

Man, am I ever jealous. Going home this year was not in the cards for us. I have a returned child and just couldn't leave him alone for the holidays. I doubt I will get home for Christmas either. Maybe next year. Hope you soaked up some of our Texas culture to talk about here when you get back. Happy Thanksgiving!

Christine--I just posted what I ate, and while I didn't eat much Tex-Mex or bbq, it was all very fresh and fine.
